Each December, we pack up about 30 youth and adults and head up to Boone, NC to work in the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center. On Friday evening, we have a tradition of eating a family style dinner @ Daniel Boone Inn, followed by a "friendly" game of bowling! On Saturday, we work all day in the processing center inspecting and preparing gift-filled shoeboxes for international delivery.

"Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. Since 1993, more than 61 million shoe boxes have been packed, shipped, and delivered across the globe. People of all ages can be involved in this simple, hands-on mission project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas-Jesus Christ."
