Grace Church Children's Ministry

Grace Church prides itself in "reaching, teaching, and unleashing people for Christ", that includes children! Consequently, we offer a variety of age appropriate children's programs and activities that meet children were they are in their faith journey and help them grow in their relationship with God.

On Sunday mornings we have an active Sunday School program where children learn the stories of the Bible and how they can apply to their lives in today's world.

We also feel that it is important for the children of Grace to do things together at least once a month with a special activity. We have different events planned for every month that are exciting and fun! Children (of all ages) and parents both are invited to take part in these activities!

FAMILY EVENT HUGE SUCCESS!

Our church's love really shined through on November 22nd at our Family Event.  We had 30 Advent Angels adopted by our Grace families.  Then, 95 people gathered for a great time of food and fellowship.  Through the generosity of our members, we also assembled 102 Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse.  God is really working through the people and Grace as they share his love with others in our church and in the world!!! 3rd Grade Bible Presentation

We are excited to present each 3rd grader with “The New Adventure Bible”.  This New International Version Bible is particularly age-appropriate in its presentation, illustrations, maps, charts and bonus information about Biblical times and culture as well as ways we can relate those stories of old to our lives today!

The Bible presentation will take place during the children’s sermon on Sunday, October 4th at the 10 a.m. worship service. 

 

 

Worship Readiness:

All 1st through 5th graders and their families are invited to attend a workshop at 4 pm, Sunday Oct 4, to prepare students for attending worship. 

The workshop includes information about the order of worship, the worship space, prayer, the sacraments of baptism and communion through games and activities.  Please contact Kim Priddy at kpriddy@grace-methodist.com to sign up.

Meals For Moms

Just imagine how much it means to have just come home from the hospital with a new baby and have someone show up at your door with dinner for your family. At Grace Church that's become a custom.
