Vacation Bible School 2009
Vacation Bible school is a yearly event for all kids 3 years old through rising 6th grade. This year children learned how their lives can be transformed by God's great love for them: "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" (1 John 3:1). Like the apostle Peter, they explored who they are in Jesus Christ and what it means to by Accepted by Jesus, Protected by Jesus, Saved by Jesus, Forgiven by Jesus and Living for Jesus. Jesus and Peter have come alive for these children through song, crafts, science, food, games and story telling. The children are forming their identity and relationship with Jesus. He is the rock upon which these children are building their life. I pray that they had a mountaintop experience they’ll never forget! Check out these pictures!
